New Update Finally Brings Apple Intelligence To Vision Pro Headset

Apple has finally rolled out Apple Intelligence (AI) features for the Vision Pro headset with the latest visionOS 2.4 update. The latest version allows Vision Pro users to gain access to several new functionalities, including writing tools that enable them to rewrite, proofread, and summarise content using AI.

This update marks a significant milestone for the company’s first spatial computer, which now includes AI-powered capabilities that improve how users interact with the mixed-reality headset.

The Vision Pro users will also have access to Image Playground and Genmoji, which allow them to create unique AI-generated images and emojis.

Additionally, users may use natural language search in the Photos app to locate certain photographs by just describing them. Also, they will be able to make a ‘Memory Movie’ based on selected themes using a new Apple Intelligence tool that is available through the new update.

The recently launched visionOS 2.4 also supports Priority Messages in Mail, Mail Summaries, Image Wand in Notes, Priority Notifications in the Notification Centre and Notification Summaries on the headset

Not just this, Apple’s latest update includes a Spatial Gallery app for the mixed reality headset. The Spatial Gallery app curates a collection of spatial videos, pictures, and panoramas from artists, filmmakers, and photographers. In the future, the tech giant intends to provide a variety of curated content for the Vision Pro including sports, culture, arts, lifestyle, nature, travel and entertainment.

The company has also introduced a dedicated Vision Pro app for iPhone users which provides access to information on apps, games and content that can be used later on the headset. The app comes with a Discover page that recommends new experiences such as popular apps and games.

Notably, these AI features will be available in beta for the Vision Pro with the latest visionOS 2.4 update.

The Vision Pro is currently available in countries like the US, UK, Australia ,Canada, China mainland, Hong Kong, and the UAE among others. The headset has still not made its way to India and for its $3,299 price tag, we don’t see Apple bringing the device to the market anytime soon.
