Oppo Find X8 Ultra With Five Cameras And 6,100mAh Battery Unveiled: India Launch Expected?

Oppo Find X8 Ultra is finally here but the bad news is that Oppo will keep it as a China-exclusive model once again. The new Ultra phone in the market is camera-studded, powered by the Snapdragon flagship chipset, features an AMOLED display and you get as much as 5 cameras at the back. Oppo is also using the Silicon carbon tech for the battery to keep it sleek but support fast charging.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra: Price

Oppo Find X8 Ultra launch price starts at CNY 6,499 (Rs 76,000 approx) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB variant. The 16GB+512GB model is priced at CNY 6,999 (Rs 82,000 approx). Oppo also has another model with satellite connectivity and 16GB RAM + 1TB, which costs CNY 7,999 (Rs 94,000 approx). Oppo Find X8 Ultra sale in China starts later this month but India launch details remain unlikely.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s Series: Specifications

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra runs on Android 15 over the ColorOS 15 version. It sports a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED LTPO display with Dolby Vision support, up to a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits brightness. Under the hood, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The phone packs a 6,100 mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Coming to the main highlight, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra has a Hasselblad-tuned rear camera unit. The handset has two enhanced periscope cameras – a 50MP Sony LYT-900 1-inch type sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultrawide lens, a 50MP Sony LYT-700 3x telephoto lens, a 50MP Sony LYT-600 6x periscope lens with a larger sensor and improved optics, and a 2MP spectral sensor. On the front, the phone boasts a 32MP camera for selfies and video chats.

Other connectivity options on the Oppo Find X8 Ultra include a 5G SIM port, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, NFC and an IR remote control. The phone is claimed to meet the IP68 + IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, with an SGSS Five-Star drop resistance certification.

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra houses a Shortcut Button and a Quick Button, which can be used to perform various system functions such as taking a screenshot and opening the camera with a double tap.
