OnePlus 13s India Launch Tipped In The Next Few Months: What You Can Expect

The OnePlus 13T launch in China is confirmed for next week and many reports have hinted that OnePlus will be bringing the supposed compact flagship to markets like India. Now, it is being reported that OnePlus will be launching a new phone in the country but it won’t be called the OnePlus 13T.
The company is planning to introduce the OnePlus 13s model in India in the next few months, as per the details in this report. Going by these rumours, OnePlus 13s could become the third device in the OnePlus 13 series which already has the 13R in the lineup.
The company started its journey in the market dubbed as the flagship killer, and the same report suggests the OnePlus 13s could take us back to its origins in the market.
New Affordable Flagship?
Some might say that the 13R is a capable and powerful model available at the ideal price range, so what does the OnePlus 13s promise for the buyers? The report says the 13T model launching in China could be coming to other markets as 13s with identical hardware and features.
What do we expect the OnePlus 13s to offer and for what price? The same report claims the company will be offering one of the Snapdragon 8 Gen chipsets, which could either be 8 Gen 3 (like the 13R) or maybe even the 8 Elite version. It could get a 120Hz AMOLED display along with 16GB of RAM and 512GB storage as the options.
Yes, the 13s is likely to get a triple camera setup with one of them being a telephoto lens. The company could help its case by ditching the IP69 rating but still offer a fast-charging 6,000mAh battery with probably slower than 100W charging speed.
The OnePlus 13s price in India is reportedly going to start around Rs 55,000 which puts it below the OnePlus 13 model but we would ideally like to see it launch for around Rs 52,000 in the country. We are eager to hear more on the new OnePlus device which could become clearer with the OnePlus 13T launch on April 24 in China.
