Vivo X200 Ultra With 200MP Camera Unveiled But Will It Come To India?

Vivo has expanded its flagship smartphone line up with the launch of the Vivo X200 Ultra in China this week. The new Ultra model in the market features a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup, that includes two Sony LYT-818 sensors and a powerful 200MP telephoto lens. The new flagship phone takes over from the X200 Pro model that was introduced globally earlier and the Ultra model features the latest Snapdragon chipset.

Vivo X200 Ultra launch price starts at CNY 6,499 (Rs 75,500 approx) for the 12GB + 256GB variant and goes up to CNY 7,999 (Rs 92,000 approx) for the 16GB + 1TB model. You can bundle this variant with a Photography kit for a total price of CNY 9,699 (Rs 1,13,000 approx).
Vivo X200 Ultra India launch news has been making the headlines in the past few weeks and going by the recent spurt of Ultra phones in the country, we are hoping Vivo also joins the gang and brings the X200 Ultra to the country.
Vivo X200 Ultra Specifications
The Vivo X200 Ultra sports a 6.82-inch 2K 8T AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, a 93.3 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 4,500 nits of peak brightness. It runs on Android 15-based FunTouch OS 15. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
On the imaging front, the X200 Ultra gets a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP 1/1.28-inch main sensor, along with a 50MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 200MP 85mm Zeiss APO telephoto lens. Vivo has equipped the system with two dedicated image signal processors called the Vivo V3+ and the VS1 chips.
Vivo is offering an optional photography kit which includes a Zeiss 2.35x teleconverter lens, touted to produce DSLR-like photographs. This additional lens can be fitted to the phone, converting the 200MP periscope shooter to provide a 200mm (8.7x optical) focal length.
For clear selfies and video calls, it has a 50MP front-facing camera. Even with all this camera power, the X200 Ultra manages to pack a huge 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 40W wireless charging speeds.
Additional features include IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor security, dual speakers and more.
