Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event In July Confirmed: Galaxy Z Fold 7 And More Expected

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event for July 2025 has been officially confirmed by the company this week and that means it is time for the new Folds, Flips and the Watches. The new launch event comes with the tagline, “The Ultra Experience is Ready to Unfold," which once again confirms the products that will be part of the launch event early next month.
We’ve had the launch date details leaked earlier this month, and now Samsung is handing out the official dates for the new devices.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Launch Event Date, Timings And More
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked July 2025 event will be on Wednesday, July 9 from Brooklyn in New York, US at 7:30 PM IST for those watching in India. And as every year, the launch event will be streamed via Samsung’s YouTube channel or the official website.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Launch Event: Fold, Watches And More Coming?
The silhouette of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the new teaser leaves little to imagination, at least from the way it looks on the side and you cannot argue that the Fold 7 model does look thinner than the previous Fold versions that Samsung has launched till date.
The company talks about its focus on making a product that is portable yet functional to operate with a large screen. Recently, Samsung talked about bringing an Ultra experience to its next Fold which many people thought was hinting towards a new variant which is not the case.
The company is also quick to highlight the Galaxy AI features that will be part of the device and with the new design gives you better ways to make use of the smart replies features for your emails on-the-go.
We might also see the new Galaxy Watch 8 series and the Galaxy Buds 4 models announced on the same day. The company recently shared a list of health features that will be available with the One UI 8 update for Watch.
Samsung needs a strong product launch this year to show it is serious in the foldable arena. The Galaxy S25 Edge is a sign that the brand is willing to try new things, but with the Fold series, we need something better and stronger. It could also use the event to tease the rumoured tri-fold device and probably announce the Samsung XR headset.
