Windows AI Laptops For Under Rs 70,000 Are Here In India And This What You Get

The era of Windows AI laptops is finally coming to a more accessible price thanks to the new Snapdragon X processor from Qualcomm. The company has introduced the new hardware in the Indian market this week, giving people the chance to try out the Copilot + PCs for under Rs 70,000. Asus is the first brand to tap into the new AI processor that promises flagship-like features but performance will be equally capable as well.
Snapdragon X For Affordable AI Laptops: What To Expect
The new 8-core Snapdragon X processor announced at the event by the company focuses on AI processes that will deliver longer battery life, which seems to be the major highlight of this new range of AI processors in the market.
The new ARM-based Snapdragon X Elite processors have shown their worth and the early signs with the new models powered by the CPU suggest we could finally see the AI Windows PCs become reliable for a wider audience.
Right Timing
The launch of affordable AI laptops is critical as the Windows 10 support is coming to an end later this year. Microsoft has made it hard to get the free Windows 11 update for millions of devices, who will surely be in the market for a new laptop and the Snapdragon X presents them with the option to go for the AI upgrade.
The Asus Vivobook 16 will be vying for this place among buyers and with more brands likely to join the ranks in the coming months. Over the years we have seen the affordable Windows segment lagging in some aspects but we are hopeful that Qualcomm gives us the right balance of performance and efficiency, even if the AI aspect is more tuned for the future. We will be only able to gauge these performance claims after testing these new units but till then the early promise shown by the Snapdragon X Plus and Elite processor keeps us in good stead.
