Google Pixel 10 Could Feature Next-Gen AI And Major Camera Boost

Google Pixel 10 is already making the headlines even though Google is yet to even make the new Pixel 9a model available in the market. The Pixel 10 is rumoured to be Google’s biggest bet in the mobile arena and we could finally get a power-packed device from the company. The Pixel 10 launch could also be Google’s first big launch with the new Android update rolling out much in advance, something that did not happen with the Pixel 9 series last year.
Pixel 10 Features Expected: Big Hardware Boost
Reports say the Pixel 10 is likely to be powered by the Tensor G5 chipset, which is not surprising. However, rumours also say Google will be using the TSMC 3nm process made chip and not the 4nm node that Samsung used to make the Tensor G4 SoC. The biggest change with TSMC could be the Tensor G5 finally becoming as powerful as the Qualcomm premium SoCs and even close to the levels of the Apple A-series chipsets.
A recent discovery in the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) code review has subtly confirmed the existence of Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 series. The device was mentioned in discussions about a new “performance mode" for the Parallel Module Loading system, which is expected to reduce boot times by up to 30 percent. That’s not all, we could see Google bump up the RAM of all the Pixel 10 models to 16GB this year.
According to reports, the Google Pixel 10 will have a triple camera configuration and sophisticated AI capabilities. The Pixel 10 is also expected to introduce a fresh design. Google’s iconic camera bar should be persisted again, despite rumours of design changes.
The entry-level Pixel 10 could see major upgrades, which includes sporting a triple-camera setup for the first time. This configuration might include a periscope zoom camera, a telephoto lens, and a main sensor, according to reports. Google could offer a 64MP primary sensor, a 64MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens as a part of the Pixel 10 setup.
With the release of the Pixel 10 series, Google is preparing to improve its AI-powered features. “Video Generative ML," an AI-powered video editing feature built into Google Photos, is one of the most eagerly awaited updates. Other noteworthy AI improvements include “Speak-to-Tweak," which lets users alter photos with voice commands, and “Sketch-to-Image," which turns doodles into lifelike images that you get with Galaxy AI from Samsung.
